HVS Brokerage & Advisory announced the successful completion of the sale of the 65-key Days Inn by Wyndham Natchitoches. The property, situated at 5135 University Parkway, Natchitoches, Louisiana 71457, was originally established in 1992.
The transaction saw the property change hands from N.M.I., Inc., based in Natchitoches, Louisiana, to Mahabali Hospitality LLC, based in Southlake, Texas. The sale marks a significant milestone in the local hospitality sector, showcasing the continued demand for well-positioned hospitality assets in tertiary markets.
President of N.M.I., Inc., Jay Sharplin expressed satisfaction with the deal’s execution, praising the HVS team’s marketing strategy and support. The strategy successfully attracted a range of offers from qualified local and regional buyers, ultimately leading to the seamless sale closing with an out-of-state buyer.
The Days Inn by Wyndham Natchitoches holds historical significance as the first hotel built in the local area. It benefits from a strategic location off Interstate 49, close to Downtown Natchitoches. The property is well-positioned to cater to commercial and leisure-related demand, given its proximity to local demand generators and attractions. These include Northwestern State University, the Natchitoches Jazz/R&B Festival, Louisiana Summer Fest, the NYP Pub Crawl, and the newly constructed multimillion-dollar sports park, Parc Natchitoches.
The property’s sale reflects the strength and diversity of the local economy, which continues to support growth in the lodging sector. This trend is anticipated to persist, underpinning the value of the acquisition for Mahabali Hospitality LLC.
